Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, August 7: Say what?
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate Tony is taken aback by what Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) tells him about Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). We guess someone’s been too busy with his DiMera plans to keep up with the latest gossip in the family. But Anna has heard and shares Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) revelation Stefano lives on. We assume Tony will take it with the massive grain of salt most take Susan’s messages with. Even though she is pretty much always right. We’re just saying.
Again, we’re curious where this whole Stefano thing is going. We think this could be interesting in a Crazy DOOL plots way, should this be another microchip situation or something like it. However, if they’re going with the idea Stefano really survived and recast, we’re not going to be happy. While we personally didn’t get to see the late Moscolo in action, we appreciate the nods to him via that portrait. It feels like a massive disrespect if they really do go with a proper recast.

In other news, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) have a confrontation. Obviously, this is brought on by him learning about Alex’s criminal record. However, we wonder if he’s actually going to reveal he knows. That could potentially compromise his investigation into Titan-DiMera. We assume should he call the record out, he’ll make up some story about checking into him now that he and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) are getting more serious. We’re sure Stephanie will love that!

Elsewhere, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) listens as Johnny panics to her. Clearly, he was a bit worried about Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) testimony. So, maybe he’s not so sure EJ is right about her stating she believes he is innocent isn’t enough to counter the rest of her testimony.

Finally, EJ and Belle meet away from prying eyes. He’ll take advantage of that room key to share a moment in her room at the Salem Inn. From the promo, it looks like they’ll have a happy escape from their days in court. However, once EJ pulls that biased card in court, we believe they’ll be on extremely rocky ground. Belle might get he’s trying to protect Johnny and we’re sure she’ll appreciate that. Still, it will have to hurt to have her professionalism called out on the record.
