‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers is saying that with so much upheaval in Salem due to the recent drug problem, things are going to get even worse in the Kiriakis family as there’s going to be a division between father and son that will be hard for both to move past.
Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) initially wanted to bring in a high priced and ruthless lawyer to defend Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann), which meant he tried to fire his dad, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth).
It was a rough scene as Justin plead his case of standing by the truth, honor, and justice, but this is Salem and while those are great qualities, they don’t work there.
Justin’s record speaks to that more than his lack of knowledge or ability, and with EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) pulling some strings to get Tate’s bail denied after the fact.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Fight fire with fire
While that’s not something that normally happens, in Salem it’s typical and Alex will have little choice but to fire Justin and bring in someone else, and to ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers that’s Sloan Petersen (Jessica Sefaty).
While Sloan has taken her licks due to Salem’s questionable justice system, she’s the best in town unless the show is planning to introduce a new character or they do it off screen.
Belle Black (Martha Madison) may be unavailable since the actress stepped away from the show over reported differences in her character’s direction, and Melina Trask (Tina Huang) is the next best choice next to Sloan.
The fact Alex has a prior relationship with her, albeit tumultuous, gives them a reason to at least entertain the notion of her working for him to help Tate.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Not backing down
Another reason for him to hire Sloan is she needs the money to pay off her credit card Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) ran up, but also because she’ll play every bit as dirty as EJ and we’d love to see the two of them go toe to toe.
It’ll also add in plenty more personal drama as Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will try to intercede in some way given Sloan made her life miserable.
In the end, there’s just way too much fun action for Alex to hire anyone else, and it’ll come down to the writers and what they can do with the pieces assembled.
