‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers: Harris Sinks Stefan, Leaves Xander to Prove his Own Innocence

‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers have been a mix of a whole bunch of weird choices and decision as the replacement writers have slowed things down to more of a classic pace and added more dialogue.

It’s not a bad thing, but there have been more than a few questionable decisions that have been made, especially from Harris Michaels (Steve Burton).

Burton’s return to ‘DOOL’ has been underwhelming at best as it took them half his time there before they progressed his redemption storyline as they made him a copy of his ‘General Hospital’ character Jason Morgan.

But his decision making leaves us wondering how much trouble he’s prepared to face afterwards after giving Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish) an ultimatum to take the fall for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) or face attempted murder charges.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Harris is an old time sheriff

For ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers, Harris is coming across more like an old Wild West sheriff than a modern day police officer, and it looks like he could get the desired results.

He’ll protect Ava and Stefan will lose one of the two things he has left in the world.

The main problem with this is it leaves a couple of loose strings, including what will happen when Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) learns Harris has continued to work on his own.

We have a feeling his days in law enforcement may end there, but since he left the show it makes sense he’ll move on after redeeming himself.

But there’s another angle, and while it’ll allow Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) to shine, it’s something that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense in some ways.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Xanders left on his own

It’s clear Harris will protect Ava and stop the drug ring at all costs, and that means Xander will be left to drift in the wind since he hasn’t been cleared, he just hasn’t been identified by Harris.

This allowed Xander to be released on bail, and now he’ll set to work figuring out who shot Harris.

In a recent interview, the actor talked about Xander using the newspaper’s resources to dig up he information needs to figure it out.

It’s a nice change from his usual walking in ready to fight and rely on the story to sort itself out. He’ll be proactive and smart, and it’ll be a cool way to cement himself in place to inherit Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston)’s empire.

How will Harris end his time in Salem? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
