Courtney Love has defended Johnny Depp’s character by revealing that he saved her life.

Courtney Love Reveals Johnny Depp Saved Her Life-‘Johnny Gave Me CPR In 1995 When I Overdosed’

This admission was in relation to an act of overdose, which Courtney had taken in 1995. The incident had allegedly taken place at ‘The of Viper Room,’ which was a club where several celebrities would hang out.

And given that Courtney was in a difficult place after seeing her husband Kurt Cobain commit suicide, Johnny was there for her in her time of need. After all, she did have a daughter (Frances) who would have been left without a mother.

In a post shared on Courtney’s friend’s Instagram, she recalled how Johnny came to her medical aid. She said: “I don’t really wanna make judgments publicly. I just want to tell you that Johnny gave me CPR in 1995 when I overdosed outside The Viper Room.”

But it was not just his medical intervention that was critical. She also admitted that Johnny went out of his way in order to make sure that Courtney’s daughter was fine. This included an apparent act where Depp had written a letter to Fraces following her father’s death amid Courtney’s addiction issues.

And at a time where Johnny’s character is being questioned in light of his trial with Amber Heard, Courtney’s words do go some way to showing the actor in a positive way.

She added: “Johnny, when I was on crack and Frances was having to suffer through that with all these social workers, wrote her a four-page letter that she’s never showed me…You know, she said to me when she was 13, ‘Mama, he saved my life.’ And she said it again.”

Given that Johnny went out of his way to make sure that Courtney was fine, it is not surprising that she has spoken so glowingly about him. And this seems to be the view of the vast majority of people, who have backed Johnny against Amber. So there you have it folks.
