CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers finds that we recently saw Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) get the boot from Jabot. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) gave both Theo and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) a fair opportunity to succeed. After Jack had enough of the duo bickering, they were instructed to deliver a pitch for a Jabot strategy. However, Theo tried to rig the competition – which backfired and resulted in him presenting a 15-year-old presentation written by Jack himself. Now that Theo is out of work, Kyle is reigning and Jabot, however, it doesn’t look like victory is as sweet as he had hoped.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) is the first person to help Kyle celebrate his Jabot win. After all, she did help in the takedown of her ex-boyfriend and Kyle’s nemesis, Theo. However, Kyle doesn’t seem to be as happy as she had expected. Kyle explains that he and Theo had been friends at one point. He feels terrible for Theo, who never had the same opportunity or safety net that Kyle did. Theo had been known for his “bad boy” vibe; however, he was a good guy. Summer explains that it wasn’t Kyle’s fault that Theo tried cheating.

Theo appears to return his badge, and Kyle leaves the room. Summer takes the opportunity to lecture Theo – adding salt to the wound. However, when Kyle comes back, he wishes Theo luck and tells him that he will be successful wherever he goes.

Later on, Kyle admits to Summer that he regrets losing his friend. Not only that, but Theo was family. At Jabot, Theo calls Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and tells her he misses her. We aren’t even really sure where those two stand anymore. It’s been a rough break for Theo for the past few months. It’s officially Theo’s birthday – and it looks like it won’t be one for celebration. Poor guy. Where do you stand with the Theo versus Kyle drama? Are you team Theo or team Kyle?
