CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers find that star Sharon Case (Sharon Newman) is opening up about her off-screen relationship with her on-screen daughter, actress Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman). Here’s what she has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the beautiful blonde put it this way, “I can’t believe how grown up Aly is. We were in a scene the other day and when she came down the stairs, I thought, ‘Who is this beauty queen?’ I couldn’t believe the difference from when she was on the show this past summer and when she came back for the holidays. She’s at that stage where every two weeks, she’s growing like a weed and it kind of blows my mind. She really is becoming a young lady.”

But with that said, Sharon adds that their off-screen relationship hasn’t really changed much, despite the fact that Aly is growing into a beautiful teen girl. Sharon continued, “Aly is still Aly and we are still us, so we are still like a couple of girlfriends and she’s still teaching me dance steps. She was telling me yesterday that in her spare time she likes to memorize TikTok dances, but I’ve already been doing that with my niece when we are sitting around after family dinners. So, Aly and I are hoping to do some together and get them on video. We’ve had a tough schedule lately but I can see that in our future.”

It’s without a doubt that ‘Young and the Restless’ fans would love to see some of those dance moves, too! After all, both Sharon and Faith are our favorite on-screen mother and daughter duo. It’s great to see that the two of them not only have a strong connection on the canvas, but off screen, too.
