CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers reveal that Over the last few weeks, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has been up to no good with blackmail! Phyllis has relentlessly blackmailed Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) in an attempt to regain Abby’s hotel shares. It looks like Phyllis may finally be in for a rude awakening now that Abby is beginning to play dirty!
After a few weeks of blackmailing Abby after Phyllis overheard Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) secret, it looks as though Phyllis may have finally gotten what she wanted – at least for now. Abby opened up to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) about Phyllis’ evil deeds. Abby is clearly confused because she notes to Amanda that a lawsuit would be just as detrimental to Phyllis as it would to her! Abby speculates that Phyllis has something up her sleeve. After all, Phyllis Summers is known for being scheming and contrived!

After Phyllis began with her rein of blackmail, Abby refused to hand over her shares. However, Phyllis’ intimidation doesn’t stop there. Phyllis continued to exert her power by convincing Abby that she is just delaying the inevitable – they might as well make it as painless and easy as possible.

As Abby opened up to Amanda about her problems, it was clear that Amanda is stuck between the personal interests of two friends. Amanda stays neutral and mediates to Abby, saying that Phyllis must really love the Grand Phoenix to be going to such heights for it! Amanda suggests that Abby really decide whether the feud and drama is really worth it for shares in the hotel. Clearly it’s worth it to Phyllis – but is it worth it for Abby?
A few scenes later, Amanda and Phyllis are sitting down and discussing the hotel drama. Phyllis relays to Amanda how important the hotel is to her – she put her all into it! Before we know it, Abby approaches with celebratory drinks. Phyllis, obviously confused, looks at Abby, who thanks Amanda for the advice and then tells Phyllis that she can have the shares.
However, Abby isn’t giving up that easy! She came in with guns blazing in this scene, and it’s clear she is prepped to play Phyllis’ game. Abby explains to Phyllis that she has purchased the property across the street and she is going to bring fierce competition to Grand Phoenix.
