They will need to be patient to find out who the father of Sally Spectra’s baby is (Courtney Hope). Which Newman brother–Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be the one?

Sally thought through the possibility that Adam could be the father. If it is Adam, he may regret the break-up. He may want to get back together. He may even ask Sally to marry him. Her thought processes show that there are still things that are attractive to her about Adam. He did hurt her, but there are aspects of his character and personality that she appreciates.
He already has a difficult relationship with his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), so Sally’s pregnancy would not cause greater tension. It is clear that if Adam is the father, the most challenging part will be his relationship with Nick. Nick won’t want to give up his relationship with Sally, so they may come to blows if Adam is the father.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: What If It Is Nick?
It is evident that the greatest issue for Sally if Nick is the father is his lack of commitment. He has feelings about her and cares for her. He hasn’t admitted to loving her in a way that truly demonstrates that he is in it for the long haul. He also has a strong tie to Newman Enterprises and his father. He will stand up for Sally, but he also is a tight part of the family.
It will be more difficult for him to stand up for Sally with his family. While Sally thinks Nick is sweet, kind and caring, it is evident that some concerns are eating at her. There are some things that give her pause. A positive paternity test for Nick won’t necessarily make everything work out well, and Sally seems to be subconsciously aware of this.
