CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has stepped up to fill in the interim CEO position while his sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) recuperates from her injuries. This has pleased both her and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), as Nick was their first choice. Unfortunately for them, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) feels they played him and will be coming hard for the company.
Though he has plans soon to go to Kansas and remarry Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), I doubt this will get in the way of their schemes to overtake Newman Enterprises. Chelsea has sworn to help Adam get what he wants, and that’s the company. Nick realizes this and tries to explain to Victor that they need to prepare for it now before it’s too late. Throw everything they’ve got at him. Victor though is confident that Adam will lose. Maybe a little too confident.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Tells Victor They Need To Prepare For Adam – Is Victor Overconfident?
The look on Victor’s face is one that is sure Adam doesn’t stand a chance. While Nick is aware of what Adam’s capable of and reminded Victor that he almost killed him before by switching his medications around. Victor explains that he forgave Adam, but he didn’t forget. Nick takes a stand and tells Victor as his son, and CEO of Newman Enterprises, they have to do everything to stop Adam.
Victor shows a look at Nick that is confident in his abilities and proud to know Nick will fight for his legacy. Although Nick is only in the position until Victoria gets healthy, he doesn’t want to tarnish it in any way and have it ready for her when she comes back.
