CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show the Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) is speaking out against human trafficking and bringing the horrendous situation to life. For a long time, this issue has been a whisper and seemed too crazy to exist. Not on our world right? However, it’s a scary and deathly real issue that plagues the Earth.
She posted several photos detailing facts about human trafficking and how most of them are children! They are sold for sex, labor, and even organ harvesting! This is something that absolutely needs to be stopped and we’re finding out more and more about every day! Ordway shared some important information in the photos but more so in her caption,
“Every 30 seconds a child is sold for sex, labor or organ harvesting. Most can’t even think about it, let alone talk about it. It’s too much to comprehend. However, the alternative to staying silent is more children like yours, mine, our friends and family, falling victim to this terrible reality. July 30th is World Day Against Human Trafficking.
