The actor, who is best known for his role as Adam Newman on the hit CBS soap, says the best way to spend Valentine’s Day is to not only do something special for yourself, but to also surround yourself with people you love. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Mark says that the best way to spend Valentine’s Day – whether you are broken hearted or just single and sassy – is to hang out with your best buds. After all, who says that you have to have a significant other in order to enjoy the holiday? Definitely not Mark.

The handsome actor told the publication, “Go out with friends and stay busy because sitting around and thinking about how your relationship ended is the worst. And also, try not to emotionally eat.”

Ha! Now that is definitely some good advice that we can take. Now, there’s something else that ‘Young and the Restless’ fans have been wondering about for a very long time. Is Mark taken? While Mark refuses to make any comments about his personal life, a lot of fans have noticed that he has been getting up close and personal with his ‘Young and the Restless’ co-star, Sharon Case (Sharon Newman). Of course, the two of them have said nothing about their supposed romance, but it hasn’t stopped fans from speculating. As a matter of fact, a lot of them have said that they would even love to see the two of them get together. And that’s not just off screen, but on screen, too! Fingers crossed.
