CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) relationship might end as quickly – and as dramatically – as it began. Speaking about his decision to bring Mishael Morgan back on the show but as a different character, ‘Young and the Restless’ head writer Josh Griffith told Soap Opera Digest that it was an easy decision to make. Explaining Amanda’s presence in Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) life, he said, “She was new in town. She just went through all this crap with the will and everybody thought she was a part of it, but she was just there to do her job. And here was also a guy that was also going through all kinds of confusion about his place and the way people looked at him. They were kind of in the same space they met at the dive bar.”

‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers tease that both Billy and Amanda will develop more than just a few feeling and before the two of them know it, they might end up in some sort of trouble, especially when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) finds out about it. But as far as the ‘end result’ Josh offers this, “This is going to be sort of the reinvention of Billy Abbott by embracing all facets of the character, the good, the bad and no longer feeling ashamed about it. It’s who he is.”
