CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that it is fairly difficult to tell when Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is being honest. He seems to be hard-wired to be sneaky and conniving. What is he really up to?

Tucker has been known to be a sleazy and unscrupulous businessman. He also has a reputation for using people as it suits his purposes. He has an on-again, off-again relationship with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). She is reminded again that he is not someone who can be trusted when she comes across Jabot’s financials in his possession.
This makes it appear that he has ulterior motives for his attention to her. She kicks him to the curb and takes off for Paris. This may have been just to “detox” from Tucker’s influence on her. When she is in Paris, Tucker leaves her a message, asking if he can come to Paris and come clean. He wants to tell her everything.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Ashley’s Impact
When she returns to town, she comes to Tucker’s place to find out what his call was all about. He says that he wants to be honest with her and tell her everything. The first thing that he admits is his financial trouble and that he is probably going to lose his company to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). With such important and shocking news, Ashley seems to be convinced that he is finally telling her the truth.
What does not make sense to her is that Tucker doesn’t seem to be anxious about it. Rather, he seems to be ready to accept defeat. He seems to be ready and eager to let the company go to the Newmans. He says he is interested in a clean slate and the ability to start something new with Ashley and with his son, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
These admissions seem out of character to Ashley. She thinks that maybe Tucker has something else up his sleeve. She obviously does not believe that he is honest and is concerned about getting romantically involved with him again. What do you think? Is Tucker being truthful?
