In fact, it looks like Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) prodigal son might be in charge of the family business now that Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) life has turned upside down. For the longest time, Victor believed that he was able to put all his trust into his daughter Victoria in the hopes that she would be able to take over Newman Enterprises from him. And so far it’s worked but ‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers tease that Victoria’s life is now in shambles. That’s because Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) left her and possibly for a new woman, too. If that weren’t enough, she was almost stabbed to death. She doesn’t know what is going on but at the same time is worried about her future. If that weren’t enough, Billy has been playing some rather cruel emotional games with her. One moment he has his foot out the door and the next he’s back in.

As much as Victor wants to help the daughter that he loves so much, he also needs to take care of the family business. If Victoria is incapable of running it, then he has no choice but to give the keys to the kingdom to Adam Newman.
However, if there’s one thing that we have learned about Adam, it’s that once he has power, he sure enough wants to hold it for as long as possible. With Adam as the new CEO of Newman Enterprises, there’s definitely going to be a huge shake up, and one that will rattle every member of the Newman family to the core. Do you agree?
