CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is opening up about her secret to her success. The actress, who is best known for her role as Steffy Forrester, says that it’s all about making sure that both your mind and your body are in sync. Here’s what she has to say.
Speaking to Soaps in Depth, the beautiful brunette says there’s a key recipe to memorizing her lines. After all, even daytime television fans know that the soap industry is a rather fast one that forces you to learn a lot of lines in a short period of time. That’s what makes this kind of acting so unique, compared to primetime or movie work.

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Opens Up About Her Secret To Her Success
Jacqueline explained that it’s all about repetition. She told the publication, “For me, the brain is a muscle, so the more you do it, the more you say the lines out loud, that’s what works for me. I’ve noticed that when I take care of myself and I’m healthy – when I’m taking vitamins and treating my body right – I’m like a sponge, and my brain can grab onto it a lot easier than when I’m not as healthy. It’s like fitness.”
However, Jacqueline does admit that from time to time it is easy to get carried away and flub a line. The actress says, “When I mess up a line, I try my best to take it back without having to start all over again. Sometimes we move so quickly, like when we are taping for episodes a day, and that’s when the swear words come out of my mouth! So it’s a little hard to jump back into the scenes when that happens!”
