CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that fans still don’t know what is wrong with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and just like the coronavirus outbreak, we might not have answers for a very long time. As a matter of fact, the ever growing and problematic coronavirus outbreak has already done some significant damage, both emotionally and economically. A lot of fans can’t cope with their own lives, yet are tuning in to the show and watching Sally’s life unravel with her own deadly but mysterious disease. Here’s what you need to know.
As of press time, the novel virus has infected almost 190,000 people all over the world and has claimed the lives of 7,513 people with half of them in China. All four of the main soaps – including ‘Bold and the Beautiful’, ‘Young and the Restless’, ‘Days of Our Lives’ and ‘General Hospital’ – have suspended production until at least mid-April in order to help curb the outbreak.

And while we might not know what is exactly wrong with the fictional Sally Spectra, her troubles are definitely something that many viewers can relate to in these troubling times that we live in. The fashion designer feels weak, her hands are often shaking and she feels disoriented and sick. If we didn’t know better, we’d assume that she was suffering from Covid-19, too.

While producers of ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ have not made any comments about Sally’s condition, they’ve also been rather quiet about some of the similarities of Sally’s symptoms to that of coronavirus. Could it be, that just like many people from all over the world, Sally Spectra has been suffering this entire time from the virus without knowing about it? Fans will find out the answer soon enough. At least, that’s what our hope is.
