CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers is asking if ever wondered how Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) can, in good conscience go after Hope Logan (Annika Noelle)? Not only from a “She’s already taken” stand point but just from the standpoint that hey guess what TECHNICALLY THEY’RE HALF SIBLINGS! I know that everyone chooses to ignore that fact but that doesn’t make it any less true. Or how Steffy Forrester (Jacquline MacInnes Wood) can date both Father and Son, Bill Spencer (Don Diamonte) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and not have any lasting psychological repercussions from it? Now, one could argue that the Forresters just have a certain ‘type’ if you will. There’s also the fact of the matter that the show is not as long as the other soaps on the daytime canvas (which should change honestly) and there are only so many characters you can show in 30 minutes before some are neglected. Okay, I get it.  But, hear me out and suspend your disbelief for just one second.

For those of you who have owned cats before you know exactly how they act but unless you have actively observed colonies of feral cats then this article won’t make any sense at all to you. So I will shorthand it for you: if you imagine the characters of B&B as feral cats then their actions make perfect sense. When it comes to mating, cats don’t really check bloodlines. If you came from a different litter, that’s good enough. You two had the same Dad? Oh well, woops, can’t do anything about that! But aside from dating – baby-swapping? Haha, I have indeed observed feral Mother cats stealing newborns from other less vigilant Moms before. The only difference is in the animal kingdom the stealing is usually done because of lack of resources to take care of the entire litter, not because one Mama kitty wanted more babies.

I’m sure you’re wondering, if indeed the cast of B&B is actually a colony of feral cats then what would they look like? Well, that’s up to anyone’s interpretation but in my own personal thoughts I would like to think that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is a turkish angora, Hope Logan (Anniks Noelle) is a turkish van, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is a big ginger tomcat, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is a Norwegian Forrest Cat, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is an Abyssinian and Thomas Forrester is a sleek black tomcat. I could speculate further but I’ll will leave that up to the rest of the B&B audience. Remember guys, this is all just for fun. Stay tuned!!!
