British Royal Family News suggests that if there is one person who should be watching behind her back these days, it’s most definitely Tatler contributor and writer Anna Pasternak, who wrote the scathing profile on Kate Middleton. Both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are none too pleased over the fact that Pasternak suggested that Kate Middleton is feeling overworked and blames Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for dumping their royal work load on her following their ‘Megxit’ from the royal family. Now the Cambridges have threatened legal action and for reasons that you wouldn’t believe, either. Here’s what you need to know.
Apparently, William and Kate are none too pleased that the profile makes the Duchess look like a royal complainer who doesn’t like to do too many royal engagements and public appearances, even though that’s all a part of her job description. The Cambridge’s PR team says that the ‘Catherine the Great’ profile was full of “swathes of inaccuracies” and are seeking to take legal action because of it.

Pasternak also suggests that Kate’s stress is eating her so much that she’s become too thin again and that her husband Prince William is a little too ‘obsessed’ with his mother-in-law, Carole Middleton.
Royal commentator Ingrid Seward has also chimed in on the controversy and told Newsweek Magazine, “She [Paternak] manages to completely lift Kate onto a pedestal and then completely knock her off it. She manages to slag off her mother, makes William look weak and makes Kate look so dull. No woman wants to be presented that way. The fact the articles attacked her family are probably what will have really got to her.”
But what really bothers Kate Middleton the most about the profile is that it apparently makes her look ‘dull.’ The Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t want to look like a homebody who doesn’t have the charisma or personality that can light up a room, just like her sister-in-law Meghan Markle. And that is what is apparently riling Kate the most.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any additional comments about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s legal suit against Tatler.
