British Royal Family News find that Catherine Zeta-Jones has stated that she is a massive fan of the Royal family following her previous experience in which she met Queen Elizabeth II at various functions during her time in the UK.
British Royal Family News: Catherine Zeta-Jones Loves The Royals
She came across the Queen during her time in London, where the Queen had attended the Royal Variety show. This is aimed at showcasing the best of British talent from various fields encompassing entertainment and skill. Given that Catherine has been such a huge fan, the experience was not one to forget.
In an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Catherine spoke on how her Royalist fervour came through when she met the Queen. She said: “I did the classic “lined-up backstage, and then she goes down the line and is able to ask you a question, each and every one of us’, and it makes you feel incredibly, incredibly important.”
The admiration did not stop there. It was even stronger and to the point where it may be bordering on a mild form of obsession. How so? Well, Catherine’s following comments were quite telling. She added: “I’m a huge royalist, you know. I get dressed up for the weddings and the births and the christenings. So I’m a huge Queen fan, I mean royal fan.”
But the pandemic has put an end to any further meetings with the Queen for the time being. So how has Catherine been occupying her time since then? Well, she has plenty to keep herself busy with including her husband, Michael Douglas, in addition to their kids. The time, though, has been used wisely. During an appearance on Live With Kelly and Ryan, she said: “It was interesting because having my kids back during this time, I realised I am a homebody.
“There’s been joy amongst our family [but] like any family, it’s been an unprecedented year, and we lost my father in law this time last year. It was difficult, but what a wonderful life he had and a legacy he left.” Given Catherine’s passion for the Royals, she will have plenty of things to get her teeth into with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continually being in the news.
