That pair had been married for 6 years when they decided to tie the knot in 1998. And during the course of that process, they had many happy memories even if things did not turn out well in the end.
So much so that Rebecca admitted she still felt the consequences of going through the divorce, as it was a reminder of how her relationship ended up failing. And yet, she still had plenty of memories that she could hold onto.
In an interview on ‘The Talk,’ she said: “I have a lot of really fun memories. I have a lot of fond memories of him. A lot of things about him that I miss. But yeah, it’s tricky. It’s a very hard decision to come to when you decide to end a marriage. It was heartbreaking.”
Her fodness for John was shown when she expanded on how she saw him for the first time since their split a few weeks ago. She recalled the story of how she was with her children when she saw John walking past their car.
And after having pointed him out, her children asked her how she had managed to know it was him to which she replied the following: “I said, ‘Girls, it’s because I was with him for 10 years. I would recognize that gait from a block away.
“I recognize the way his body moves. I know that walk. I’m familiar with his body.” The fans on social media had a lot to say. People were of the view that her life had declined since the split, and her comments reflected how much she wanted him back.
