Daniel Kaluuya has ruffled a few feathers after he made some comments that appeared to mock the Royal family.

Daniel responded following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview in which they disclosed many disturbing things, including an accusation of racism that was directed against Archie’s skin colour. During his appearance on Saturday Night Live, the actor said: “I know you’re hearing my accent and thinking, ‘Oh no. He’s not Black. He’s British.’

“I’m here to reassure you that I’m Black and I’m British. I’m what the royal family was worried the baby would look like.” He then went to address the topic of racism and indirectly hinted at the reasons as to why Meghan has been receiving mixed feedback to her interview. Meghan has been bashed by the UK media for being untruthful, with Piers Morgan being one of her most ardent critics.

In comparison, Meghan has been received rather well in the US and was portrayed as a symbol of female empowerment. With that, Daniel’s next comments were telling. He added: “Let me put it this way. British racism is so bad, white people left. They wanted to be free — free to create their own kinds of racisms. That’s why they invented Australia, South Africa and Boston.”

There had even been rumours that she was considering running for Presidency. Now that would throw a major spanner in the works given her Royal past and the natural presidential duties that would emerge in making official Royal visits. But is this a realistic possibility? Well, it seems to be the number one goal for Meghan.

Richard Eden, who happens to be a Royal commentator, said: “A very good source said even after Meghan had started going out with Prince Harry she had said that her ultimate ambition was to be President. It seems to be increasingly likely, and what a fascinating prospect it would be.”

And the chances of this actually happening are not out of the realms of possibility. After all, who would have thought that Donald Trump would have been the President? And yet, he did the unthinkable with even talks that he might run again in 2024.
