Travis Scott has been slammed from a family member connected to the Astroworld tragedy after claims that the rapper bought a $5.5 million Bugatti.

Attorney Of Deceased Astroworld Victim Blasts Travis Scott’s $5.5 million Bugatti Purchase

According to reports, 10 people were killed at the Astroworld concert as well as many others injured, as Travis was heavily criticized on the basis the safety protocols at the event were not up to scratch.

As a result, he has faced a series of lawsuits thereafter, so the fact that this lavish purchase has emerged did not go down very well. The family of Ezra Blount, who happened to be a 9-year-old that died, did not hold back on their condemnation.

The family’s attorney, Bob Hillard, told TMZ the following: “Ezra would still be alive today, enjoying his summer, if Travis would’ve spent half of what he paid for the Bugatti on simple safety measures at the deadly music festival.”

This is clearly not a positive look for Travis, especially since the lawsuits have not yet been resolved. And if it does turn out that he is held liable in some way, with the result that he has to pay damages, then purchases like this are not going to help his cause.

And yet, that seems to be the last thing on Travis’ mind. In the picture here, we can see the state-of-the-art black Bugatti. The response on social media, thought, was mixed. While people recognised that Travis ultimately decided how he should spend his money, they still felt that there had to be some form of accountability.

One person wrote: “He can do whatever he wants with his or his baby mamas money but let’s all be honest it’s messed up he isn’t gunna get in any trouble for what happened.”

It is safe to say that there is still some time to go before Travis is accepted back into the public arena like he was before. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
