‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers indicate that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is probably not as confident as he is trying to appear. No one trusts him and he doesn’t trust anyone else. He is trying to work out his plan of attack to take over Jabot, but the Abbotts aren’t waiting for him to make his move. Is Tucker McCall going to have to do what they hope and give up and leave town for good?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: No Allies?
Y&R’s Tucker McCall has a problem. To wrest Jabot away from the Abbotts, which he really wants to do, he needs help. At first, he had his fiancé and then wife, Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) help. She was furious at her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for allowing Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) into the lives. She was willing to work with Tucker to take down the company.
Now that Ashley has sided with her family, Tucker is more intent than ever to take Jabot away. But he doesn’t have that many people on this side. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), his occasional partner in bed and in the office was willing to help him to get the CEO job. She tried to recruit Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to help so that he could have a top position at his family’s company.
While Kyle says he is interested in helping Tucker, he has told his mother about his plan to pretend to help Tucker so that he can save Jabot for his family. Kyle is an Abbott, and Tucker must certainly know that he is as trustworthy as Ashley was. Even Audra is getting a little sick of Tucker’s games. When push comes to shove, she is always going to look out for what is best for her career. Basically no one is really on Tucker’s side.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Reputation Leaked
Tucker McCall isn’t sure how to deal with the fallout from the news story that was leaked by the Abbotts about he covered up a scandal while he was the CEO of McCall Unlimited. The news is out, and it doesn’t paint in him a very good light. As he tried to explain himself to Y&R’s Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), it was clear that his actions were just to protect his company. He isn’t interested in doing the right thing. That just confirmed what they believe about him.
How can his reputation recover from this? Covering up the scandal and hiding it for so long is going to be odious to so many people. The only person who is really talking to him (and with reticence) is Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). If Phyllis is your only friend, and she prefers to avoid you, then you’re alone.
Do you think it is time for Tucker McCall to leave Genoa City? Is there really any way he can stir up trouble now? He is completely alone, and his reputation is severely tarnished. Is there any way up from here?
