‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers find that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) learns that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) knows that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is the one who blew the whistle and got Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in trouble with the SEC.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael and Olivia Want to Keep the Peace
Michael and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LiCicero) try to persuade Ned to keep the secret so that they can keep the peace in the family.
This is really out of character for Olivia, as everyone knows Brooklyn Italian girlfriends are notoriously loyal, and Olivia should have gone straight to Carly with the truth.
Olivia has been Carly’s best friend for a long time. It doesn’t make sense that even though Olivia can’t stand Nina, she would want this to remain a secret. It seems like GH is writing it this way to drag the storyline out even further.
Not to mention, Ned is her husband, and he was wrongly accused of something he didn’t do. Wouldn’t Olivia want Ned to clear his name and repair his family relationships?
If GH had stayed true to the character, Olivia would have shouted from the rooftops about what Nina did and what her husband didn’t do.
However, that’s not the story we were told to swallow. Since the writers went in this direction, we predict that Nina will go unpunished for a little longer.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael and Olivia Don’t Want to Hurt Willow or Sonny
Michael doesn’t want to hurt his wife, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), since she’s been getting closer to Nina. Willow almost died and is finally getting her life back on track. He doesn’t want to be the one to tell Willow that her Mom is a no-good snitch.
Michael and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have also come to an understanding as father and son. Michael sees how happy Nina makes him, and he doesn’t want to destroy his father’s marriage.
Instead, he chose to blackmail Nina. Olivia feels the same way Michael does. She doesn’t want to upend the family, even though Ned told her he wouldn’t stay silent.
Ned will want to clear his name, though. So maybe with Michael’s help, he can do that without giving away what he knows.
Michael will indeed apologize to Ned for doubting him and accusing him of ratting out Drew and Carly for the sake of the family business. Michael will want to try to make it up to Ned somehow.
Spoilers reveal that on November 17th, Sonny will try to get answers from Nina. Good luck with that. It’s also not in Nina’s character to offer something to Carly, especially since Carly kept the secret about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and Willow being her daughters.
Nina will likely try to come up with a plausible story. One that will only serve to buy her time. Nina is about to go down hard, and it’s just inevitable.
For so long, Nina has gotten away with so much that it made viewers wonder if the truth would ever come out. Luckily, it’s November sweeps, so there is a chance that Christmas will come early this year.
