‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) may shortly find himself dumped from Newman Enterprises. If he is to get the axe, who will be the one to try to save him? Will it be Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) or will it be Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver)?

Victoria started being attracted to Nate Hastings as he was in the role of CEO of Newman Media. He was involved in a relationship with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) at the time, but she was able to seduce him. He was attracted to her power and her ambition. They began to sleep together.
Victoria’s family has repeatedly warned her about Nate and his motives. They don’t think that he is someone to be trusted. Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) is Nate’s most vocal opponent and Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) is no fan.
The only person who admires Nate to some extent is dear old Dad, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

But when Nate got on board with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to ask the Newmans to consider the merger of Newman Media with SNA, this made Victor wary. Nate already knew Victor’s opinion about the merger but pitched it to him because he was trying to help Audra.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) blackmailed Audra. Nate was willing to do what he could to help her. Victor could see that Nate puts the good of a friend over the desires of the boss. This may mean Victor is ready to hand him his walking papers.
Victoria too didn’t feel very comfortable with Nate pitching for Audra in this way. He wasn’t above board with her, telling her about the black mail right away. He kept that to himself and made the merger pitch to her father.
This made her question Nate and his motives. So, will Vic really be coming to his aid when she returns from her trip?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Or Maybe Audra?
Audra and Nate are both ambitious. Nate saw the potential in Audra and hired her at Newman Media. When he was given Nick Newman’s job, he convinced Victoria that Audra should be CEO of Newman Media.
Audra and Nate have had the “I’ll scratch your back, you scratch mine” type of relationship. While this is true, Nate wasn’t happy that he had to go to bat with Victor for the merger on Audra’s behalf.
It put his relationship with Victoria in jeopardy and he told Audra that he’d never put his neck on line like that again.
Possibly Audra will keep her job at Newman Media and Nate will get the boot. If that happens, will Audra try to do what he can to help him? Does she owe him anything? Or will she try to sever her connections with him to keep herself right where she wants to be with Newman? What do you think?
