‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hadn’t known about his daughter, Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) relationship with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and this was made abruptly known as she walked down the stairs half-naked wearing Devon’s shirt.
Now, what’s stranger is the fact that Devon’s stairs are pretty wide-open and easy to see down, not to mention that Abby surely heard her father’s voice coming from downstairs. Yet, she still decided to walk down half-naked. What was the point of that, Abby?

Abby has never been the brightest bulb in the box, I think we can all agree on that, but this just made no sense. Why not hide upstairs if you didn’t want your father to find out about your relationship with Devon, yet? Unless she did want him to know.
It will be interesting to see how Victor will react (if at all) to the news and if he will speak to Devon any differently now that he knows he is with his daughter.
In the meantime, Victor is going to try to make sure that Devon wins his case to get Hamilton-Winters back, and in exchange, Devon will give up his pursuit for McCall Unlimited.
What a strange moment, and something that made me raise my eyebrow. Sometimes I don’t understand the writing on this show at all.
At the same time, they tried to make it feel like there was tension between Abby and Devon because he didn’t want her to go with him and that there may be something between Devon and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) or something.
