‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) Hopes Are Shattered

‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) suggests that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) may be facing an uphill battle. Her plan for Chancellor-Winters was not met with the enthusiasm she hoped for.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Battle

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has decided that he wants out of Chancellor-Winters. He has said he didn’t agree with the company going public and because of that, he wants his part of the company.

In actuality, dissolving the merger would not be an easy feat nor would it be a good financial decision. For this reason, Jill and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) made an offer to Devon.

They offered to buy his portion of the company out so that he could start his own company. He claims he doesn’t want this because he wants the company that Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) started.

That is what is important to him. Since he refused their offer of a buy-out, Devon has filed suit against them to get his company back.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Unexpected Solution

On the very day of arbitration, Jill is approached by Victor Newman (Eric Braedon). Victor has his eyes set on McCall Unlimited. Trevor McCall is in debt and needs to sell his company.

While Tucker initially approached Newman Enterprises about buying the company, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) tells him that he has to sell to Devon. Devon is interested in McCall Unlimited because he is worried about his suit against Chancellor-Winters.

He would like McCall Unlimited as “insurance” in his back pocket. Victor doesn’t want this, so he has made an offer to Jill. He is willing to privately invest in Chancellor-Winters so it does not go public.

He also promises to agree to not have any controlling interest in it. The reason to pay is just to keep the company from going public, so Devon will be satisfied and stay with the company and not buy McCall Unlimited.

While Jill thinks this is a great solution that will bring the siblings back together again, emotions are still running high. Devon feels that Lily was out to hurt him when she hired Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to represent Chancellor-Winters.

This was Devon’s ex-girlfriend to whom he was unfaithful. This feels like a direct attack to him. Devon tells Jill there is no way that he can forgive his sister and go on like none of this has happened. He still wants out.

What do you think will happen? Will Devon still sue? Can they be able to work it out and not proceed with litigation?  Will Devon and Lily ever be able to salvage their relationship? Leave your comments below.
