‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers show that more sibling rivalry is brewing between Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Throwing Barbs
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has a plan. He wants to get Adam back to Newman Enterprises. When he proposed to Adam that he return to the family business, Adam said he would only do so if his father takes away the job of CEO from his sister Victoria and gives it to him.
Adam made such a brash suggestion because he wanted to see his father squirm. He knew his father could never take the leadership of the company away from Victoria.
Another opportunity came to Victor’s mind when he heard that Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) business, McCall Unlimited, was in danger. He intends to buy the company and turn it over to Adam to run.
That way he can get Adam back into the family fold but not take Victoria’s job away from her. Victoria has heard these plans from her father and her brother Nick (Joshua Morrow).
She has no interest in letting Adam run McCall Unlimited when and if Newman acquires it. She has her own plans for the company.
When Adam talks with her about the plan, she pushes back, saying he is not capable to run the company. They begin to toss barbs back and forth at one another, giving an indication of what is to come if Victor Newman does manage to get his hands on McCall Unlimited.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) Steps In
When Nate Hastings overhears Adam disparage his sister, he steps in. He calls Adam out on his choice of words. Adam is surprised that Nate feels that he has to defend Victoria.
He pushes Nate a bit, wondering why Nate is there to defend his sister and where Nate’s girlfriend is. While Nate and Victoria are currently not pursuing a romantic relationship, it has been hard for them to ignore their intense feelings.
Is Adam picking up on this since Nate was quick to defend Victoria? Is this going to give Adam some ammunition against his sister in the future?
