A recent poll has indicated that the public’s favorability towards Prince William is much higher than Prince Harry’s in the United States.
New Poll Finds That The American Public Trusts William More Than Harry-‘People In America Are Waking Up’
Redfield & Wilton conducted a survey in which participants were asked to rate which brother was more faithful, loyal, reliable, and trustworthy. Out of all the categories, William came out on top. Out of the 1,500 individuals who took part in the poll, nearly half indicated that Prince William had a better understanding of the duty which is so important to the monarchy.
The poll also demonstrated that William had a 17-point advantage over Harry in terms of leadership, which was a setback for the Duke as he has been working hard to show himself as a leader and spokesperson.
In 2014, he founded the Invictus Games to bring servicemen and women, both active and retired, together through physical activities. Additionally, he and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, were jointly granted the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award in recognition of their courageous stance in opposition to systemic racism within the Royal Family.
Nevertheless, that has failed to resonate with the public as William has been forging his own path. Taking his father, King Charles III’s lead, he has been a vocal proponent of environmental protection, establishing the Earthshot Prize to support ecological research and advancement.
Furthermore, according to the survey, 36 percent of respondents thought that William was more reliable than his brother, as they believed he was more likely to be honest. In contrast, Harry and his wife have been challenged for several of their statements about themselves and the Royal Family after they relinquished their official roles, with the Duke of Sussex receiving a score of 27 percent.
The response on social media was much the same. Large numbers of people felt the Sussexes were no longer credible given the amount of time that their narrative had been challenged with evidence. One person wrote: “He and his wife have serious problems, and people in America are waking up to them.”
