Hilaria Baldwin showed her support for her husband, Alec Baldwin, who was accused of involuntary manslaughter in connection to the lethal shooting on ‘Rust.’
Outrage As Hilaria Baldwin Stands By Alec Amid His Involuntary Manslaughter Charge-‘He Killed Without Checking For Bullets, He Needs To Be Held Accountable’
Prosecutors recently brought an accusation of involuntary manslaughter against the actor in connection to the death of Halyna Hutchins, the cinematographer of “Rust” who was fatally shot in October 2021.
Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who managed all the weapons used on set for the movie, is also being accused of involuntary manslaughter. Both Alec and Gutierrez-Reed could receive a punishment of up to five years in prison.
However, prosecutors have dismissed one of the charges against Baldwin, which decreased his potential prison sentence from five years to a maximum of 18 months. With that being said, Hilaria wanted to let everyone know that she was standing by her man.
On Saturday, 18th February 2023, the 39-year-old posted a throwback picture of herself and her 64-year-old spouse snuggling up for the camera approximately a year after they had first encountered each other.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “What a journey we have had been through, to, in, and around and continuing…every emotional place I don’t think either one of us could have ever predicted.
“But here we are…still standing, surrounded by all of you amazing humans, our tiny babes…and together. In it with you, Alec.” The social media response was damning.
This was on the basis that Baldwin came across as a victim, which did not sit well with those who wanted to hold someone accountable for Halyna’s death. One person wrote: “These two are so arrogant. He aimed a gun at the woman he killed without checking for bullets and pulled the trigger.
