Kate Middleton, The Princess of Wales, posted a picture of herself from when she was a baby, with her dad, Michael Middleton, to highlight her Shaping Us campaign.

Kate Middleton Slammed For Using Her Childhood Photo With Her Father To Promote Her Shaping Us Campaign-‘Your Relationship With Harry? Practice What You Preach’

The photograph depicted a beaming Kate, grabbing her father’s face, as she sought to emphasise the importance of early childhood development. The post was captioned by the following comments: “We’d love for you all to spend time with your friends, families, colleagues and communities.

“Talking about your early childhoods and how they’ve shaped your lives. I hope you’ll also consider joining me in sharing a picture of yourselves before your fifth birthday to help with those conversations.”

Kate stated that her campaign was not just about raising children but also about developing society and forming an atmosphere which is more caring. She pointed out to radio host Roman Kemp that she wasn’t trying to put additional stress on parents, instead she was trying to emphasise the importance of family life and encourage them to reprioritise it.

The Shaping Us movement is something Kate views as her mission in life, and is intended to draw attention to the crucial years of a youngster’s growth, from before birth until they are five years of age.

In her comments at the time to Roman, she remarked: “This isn’t just about raising kids. It’s about shaping our futures, shaping our society, creating a happier, healthier, more nurturing world for us all to live in.” The fans on social media, though, had a mixed response.

While large numbers of people recognised that Kate’s campaign could have a positive impact, others questioned why the Princess of Wales was not showing the same energy when it came to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children. After all, they do fit the age group of her campaign.

One person wrote: “Shouldn’t this information be applied to your relationship with Harry? To look at what he experienced in his youth and how that impacted him? Seems you claim to care about mental health, but don’t practice what you preach.”
