As usual, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal things were not easy for Teresa and the others. She had the key in her hand finally, but then the DEA came calling. After shooting the horseman that gave Teresa the key, the DEA agents chased Teresa. Lucky for her, they managed to get away. The problem is, in the process, Teresa dropped the purse she was carrying with her cell phone in it. So, Teresa, her group, and the other team had to get rid of their phones to keep the DEA off their trail. We’ll see if that ends up being a bigger problem as the series goes on.

As for Genoveva, we know she wants revenge for what Epifanio Vargas (Humberto Zurita) did to her and her father. So far, she managed to get some helpful info to the DEA without Epifanio finding out it was her. She also managed to coordinate another plan with General Carlos Garrido (Noé Hernández Álvarez). It’s looking good for her, as Garrido has refused to tell the DEA where the information is coming from. But we have a feeling it might not last.

Also, we’ve got to give props to Julieta. After her failed attempt to turn in Teresa, Lorenzo Mortati (Marcelo Dos Santos) was none too happy with Julieta or her helper. In fact, he threw a fit and then fired them for acting behind his back. Karma decided to repay his act by having the police show up and bring him in for the video admitting he’d helped cover up a rape. Forgetting his anger, he ordered Julieta to call his lawyer. But she responded she’d like to, but she doesn’t work for him anymore. Gotta love how things work out sometimes…
Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: What’s next
As for what’s next, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal, as we mentioned previously, #TeamTeresa scored a huge victory when Sheila (Cuca Escribano) figured out how the different keys fit together. Thanks to that, Fedor Yosikov (Víctor Rebull) and the rest figured out the location of that evidence Epifanio wants so badly.
We assume he’ll want to either travel there himself or close himself up somewhere where he can keep tabs throughout their search. Whatever his motive, this new development will find him looking for an excuse to disappear a bit. He’ll have a press release put out claiming he’s getting a physical.
As for what’s going on in the US, the DEA now has a witness’ cooperation and the DEA is putting all their hopes on it. In particular, Senator Jane Kozar (Beth Chamberlin), who needs Epifanio out of the way badly.
