Eric Trump has refuted allegations that the Trumps disapprove of Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Eric Trumps Denies Rumours That The Trump Family Hates Donald Trump Jr.’s Fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle-‘I Completely Disagree’
This came after Ivanka Trump failed to attend the couple’s holiday gathering shortly after her Instagram post that excluded Kimberly from the picture. Don Jr., aged 44, and his fiancée Kimberly, aged 53, welcomed over 300 guests to their Palm Beach property this week for a charitable fundraiser event in support of Toys For Tots.
Eric showed up with his spouse Lara, and Donald Trump was present for a half-hour before going off to another gathering. Nonetheless, Ivanka and her husband Jared, even though they were invited, did not come as it was Shabbos, the Jewish holy day.
And yet, it appears as though there could be disharmony behind the scenes. A source said: “The vibe is that the family doesn’t like Kim. She is trying too hard to be in the family.”
The rumours that Guilfoyle was not well-liked by the Trump family started to spread when Ivanka edited out Guilfoyle’s presence in an Instagram photo which was taken at her sister Tiffany Trump’s wedding.
While that may have been the case, Eric denied any ill-will of the sort in suggesting that things could not be any better when it came to familial relations. In a statement in response, he remarked: “I completely disagree with the narrative and happen to think the world of Kimberly.
“I am best friends with Don and had an absolute blast at the party.” The response on social media, though, was quite different. A certain subset of people felt that there was an element of internal politics going on between the family, which could have created some jealousy.
After all, it made no sense to crop out Kimberly from the photo unless there was an issue. One person wrote: “She is probably the smartest of the Trumpy can and they can’t stand it.”
