Khloe Kardashian’s Plastic Surgeon Recalls Removing Her Face Tumour
The Kardashian has admitted previously in having had cosmetic procedures when it came to enhancing certain aspects of her body. This was seen when she revealed she underwent a nose job following huge speculation that she had done so.
Although that may have been the case, this time around, the tumour appeared to be removed on the grounds of health reasons. Dr. Fisher did not disclose the exact reasons for the removal due to the fact that it would have violated patient confidentiality, but by the looks of it, this was a very serious matter.
In his comments, he said: “She had something on the side of her cheek that she just picked at, didn’t really know what it was and wasn’t paying attention to it. Then she went and got a biopsy of this, and the biopsy showed that it was really dangerous. Potentially something could be fatal.”
It is not surprising, then, that this caused the Kardashian a huge amount of worry. The plastic surgeon resorted to getting a second opinion in order to make sure that there was a correct diagnosis. And once that had been established, a decision was made to go ahead with some surgery.
Naturally, there could have been huge consequences as anything ranging from side effects to infections could have emerged. But through it all, Khloe came to the fore by taking everything in her stride.
The following comments confirmed as much: “I’ll tell you, to take off something in the middle of somebody’s cheek, it doesn’t matter who it is, it’s not a comfortable thing to do. What she had to do is a large … cut out. I was just amazed at how mature and how courageous she was.”
