Julia Fox Opens Up On Her Struggles With ADHD And OCD
The model may have those issues to overcome, but she has still managed to become a successful person in her own right. Her modeling career has been well-documented, especially following her fleeting romance with none other than rapper, Kanye West.
And yet, her life has been complicated by those two obstacles, something which has had an impact on the amount of work she can get done. In her comments, Julia said: “I have bouts of, like, great productivity, where I’m, like, on top of the world.
“ADHD is really tough. I have a little bit of OCD as well, which I just realized. I used to count the number of letters inside of words in my head, and I’d always want them to reach to 10.”
But in order to combat that problem, she spoke about how she has been using weed. There is danger, though, that this could exacerbate her problems on the basis that Julia has had substance abuse issues in the past. As such, there is always a worry that she could become dependent on such substances in order to function.
And yet, even with that, this has not been enough to tackle all of her demons. Julia’s following comments confirmed as much: “The weed quiets down the OCD. But it does not help with the productivity issue with the ADHD. It’s just too much!”
The fans on social media were surprised by Julia’s revelations. This was on the basis that fans would not have expected this in light of her success. One person wrote: “She’s Neurodivergent? Wow. I didn’t know that. You are telling me now for the first time.”
