The pair decided to get married in 2011 during which they raised four children together: Arrow, Gia, Coco, and Valentine. During the course of that process, their marriage was dogged by problems. So much so that it is alleged the duo were considering a divorce in 2018 before that did not go ahead.
While that may have been the case, it now seems that there are irreconcilable differences that no longer make the relationship tenable. With that being said, Dan reassured everyone that their main priority was the children.
In a post to his fans on Twitter, he said: “I am saddened to say that after many beautiful years together Aja and I have separated. Being great parents to our children is our number one priority. Thank you for always supporting us with love and care for all these years.”
It is too early to tell if this will lead to a divorce. As mentioned previously, they reconciled after filing for divorce in 2018. That was even followed up by a situation where they wrote the song, “Bad Liar” together.
Although there is nothing to suggest that this will happen again, it is worth bearing in mind especially given Aja’s comments following the initial divorce proceedings.
In her comments at the time, she stated: “I’m proud of you @danreynolds I’m proud of your humility and ability to still show up as the basketball coaching baby loving Dad that you are. I know that it’s been a crazy road…Now we are rebuilding.”
As long as the two do what is best for them, then who are we to question otherwise. And that is the most important thing to remember going forward. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
