Fans have speculated that Matthew Lawrence cheated on Dancing with the Stars’ Cheryl Burke following her TikTok video.

The duo, for their part, decided to split up this year after they had gotten married in 2019. And given that Cheryl was very vocal about how this was such a difficult period in her life, coupled with the fact that she was not interested in dating anytime soon, people began to assume that Matthew may have done something major to create the break-up.
And it all came to a head in the following video. In the video here, we can see that Cheryl is posing to the camera. In the background we can hear Adele Laurie Blue Adkins’s song, ‘When We Were Young.’
The post was captioned by the following comments: “When he said he would never talk to her again, I found text messages, viagra, and a necklace hidden in a pair of his shoes….The last time is absolutely right!” she added in the caption. Goodbye forever.”
As a result, people began to assume that Cheryl was referring to Matthew. This was on the following basis. First of all, he was her last ex and therefore it would be logical for her to be addressing him since the memories would be fresh.
Secondly, there is nothing to suggest that it is anybody other than Matthew since she has not spoken about any other breakups apart from this one recently. And yet, it is still important to have a little bit of doubt by virtue of the fact that Cheryl did not name the exact person.
Regardless of who the person may have been, the fans on social media made it clear that she was referring to Matthew. One person wrote: “It’s sad to think Matthew did that. Kind of dampers his image for me,” while another person stated: “[I am] boycotting everything Lawrence moving forward.”
