‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) isn’t sold on the idea that Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death was just an accident caused by bad weather, and he’s wondering if anyone is actually asking questions. This came up while speaking to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
Nate thinks that there is something fishy about what happened, and I’m sure he doesn’t believe Ashland Locke is innocent. Nate thought of Ashland as a friend and was devastated when the truth came out about him, and now I think he’s going to be even more suspicious of the man.

While Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) told Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) that Rey had a heart attack and that’s why he didn’t swerve out of the way, we have to wonder if there’s more to the story… Was Rey poisoned again? Did Ashland plan this somehow? How could he have?
I don’t think it’s as black and white as they’re making it out to be and I would love to see Nate come into a larger role with this. He’s mostly been in the background of storylines and not used much, but if here were at the front and center for a while I think he could really shine.
Perhaps Nate has another career inside of him, like a detective? How interesting of a move would that be! You think him going from doctor to businessman is crazy, I would love to see him go through training and school to be a police officer and work alongside Chance. There’s a storyline for you writers.
