CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for a character building episode as some dynamics may be shifting and making family dynamics a weapon the Newmans won’t have cornered.
It’s going to be a nice change of pace to have a major storyline that’s not Newman centric, and the Abbotts are due to share in the limelight once again.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Ashley’s worried
While Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is in LA, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will gather the other Abbotts around to voice her concerns over Jack’s granddaughter.
More like the circumstances surrounding how he found her, and she’ll try to convince them that there’s something more going on than they’re aware of.
We expect they’ll listen to her, but they’ll trust in Jack’s judgement. We think Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will be Jack’s biggest supporter and try to help find common ground between Ashley’s concerns and what’s best for Jack.
Ashley probably won’t be interested in giving in, but she’ll probably agree to a compromise for them to be ready in case something’s going to happen.
If they learned anything over the years, it should be to expect anything.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis pushes
Not that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is in the know and, more importantly, saw Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is alive with her own eyes, she’s going to switch to attack mode.
This is where ‘Young and the Restless’ would normally feel sorry for whoever Phyllis is about to eviscerate, but this is Diane so she kinda has it coming.
Phyllis will be her pure self and cut right to the chase and go after Diane about what she hopes to accomplish. She won’t believe Diane just wants to reconnect with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for a second.
This should be a pretty good scene with Jack caught in the middle to try (not very hard) to keep then from ripping each other apart.
This will have nothing but hate and vitriol and it’ll be exquisitely beautiful. It’ll be an injection of emotion this show has lacked for years.
There’s only so much moping and tears anyone can take and this will have the potential to be the storyline of the year.
We’re stoked the show is doing some of what made it great and we can’t wait to see what’s next. Will Ashley have the Abbotts ready for war or will they be surprised?
