Britney Spears is reportedly looking to sue her previous business manager, Lou Taylor, on the grounds that she feared for her life.

Britney, for her part, has been speaking out in the aftermath of her conservatorship victory against her father, Jamie Spears.
And as part of that process, she is leaving no stone unturned in her attempt to hold all those who made her life a living hell accountable.
One person who has been put in the firing line has been Lou and her company, Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Britney said: “I will sue the s–t out of Tri Star !!!!
“[My father] would have done anything they asked of him !!!! I think they were trying to kill me … I still to this very day believe that’s EXACTLY what they were trying to do.”
Lou had been part of the conservatorship, as Jamie had allegedly put her as the business manager in charge of Britney’s estate. Lou remained there before leaving the position in 2020.
But given that Britney had expanded on how she had been ‘abused’ as part of her treatment in the conservatorship, she was understandably out to hold people accountable.
She added: “Nobody else would have lived through what they did to me !!! I lived through all of if [sic] and I remember all of it !!!!”
In response, Lou’s lawyer has denied that her client had done anything of the sort. This was on the basis that the accusations were not accurate, and in any event, outside of evidence to the contrary, it was Britney’s word against his client’s.
Charles Harder, who happens to be Lou’s attorney, had this to say: “[These claims are] entirely false as well as highly offensive, damaging and unacceptable.”
It is too early to tell whether Britney will go ahead with this. After all, she has since then deleted that Instagram post. But given that she has the support of the public on her side, there is a chance that she could go ahead with this.
