‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the legendary Betty White passed just before New Year’s and the entire world probably shared a drink for Betty rather than 2022. All over the internet, celebrities and fans have been sharing their Betty White memories and remembering the starlet.
This means people from Y&R as well, in particular, Eric Braeden (Victor Newman). Braeden worked with White on ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ and shared photos from his episode there. There’s a short clip where Braeden briefly talked about this episode that you can see below. The episode is from Season 7, Episode 14 “The Critic”, if you’re interested in going back and seeing these two together.

Braeden shared two photos from the episode saying “I respected this lady greatly! She entertained generations with her optimism and humor!”
Betty was a pioneer of television, a WWII volunteer, and one of the funniest people on the planet, and her loss came as a shock by many even at her age of 99. Many believed she was going to live forever. Unfortunately, White passed away during her sleep in her home. She would have turned 100 this month, on January 17th.
In a cover story for PEOPLE magazine, she spoke about what it was like being nearly 100, saying, “I’m so lucky to be in such good health and feel so good at this age,” said the veteran actress. “It’s amazing.”
The world will miss her.
