‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) has his party today, thanks to the Newman’s, and it was a bit of a disaster. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) showed up late and completely missed Chance and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) altogether. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was blatantly asking Chance about his experience and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) continued to struggle with his attachment to Dominic.
That’s just the people who were there! Meanwhile, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) was talking to her mother, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about it and explaining why she wasn’t going. To top it all off, Chance and Abby ended up leaving early because Chance in no way wanted to be there.

Fans reacted to the party by saying, “No thanks I will pass need something new to see besides this long drawn out story!”, “I’m sure he’s a great actor but he Definitely does not look the part of a super tough fbi rock star. Looks like a preppy school kid.”, “Why are they throwing a party in a hotel lobby when this is all supposed to be out of the press and the public? 🤔”, “Welcome at the Newmans party 😱 Where is Nina ? Where is Tracy ?”, and “This is a good casting in the Chance character but let the man breathe he has been through an ordeal”.
The responses are spread out, with some who love him and others who are less than thrilled. The party was a huge mistake, and no one should have been there. Let Chance be and let him deal with his trauma before showing him off in a hotel lobby.
