Kim Kardashian is reportedly looking to end her marriage with Kanye West as soon as possible.

Kanye, for his part, made a public admission during his recent sell-out concert with Drake in which he had begged Kim to “run back to me.” This was a watershed moment, especially since Kim was in the crowd.
However, things did not go to plan as shortly after, Kim had taken steps to remove the name ‘West.’ And now it looks as though she wants to cut ties immediately, particularly since she is romantically involved with none other than Pete Davidson.
Reports indicate that Kim had made the decision to file the papers in February, but the rapper has not responded in that regard.
According to the court documents, Kim has stated the following: “[Kim] and her counsel have reached out to [West]…in an attempt to move this case forward to a speedy and amicable resolution. [West] has been non-responsive.”
If Kanye was looking for anything more than a co-parenting relationship, then these claims would suggest that he is sadly mistaken.
Kim has no desire for a reconciliation which is not surprising. After all, Kanye had made many public outbursts which she had to deal with during the course of their marriage which lasted for around 6 years.
Her primary focus is her well-being, as well as her children who need her. The documents added: “The parties’ marriage has irremediably broken down.
“[Kim] no longer desires to be married to [Kanye]. There are simply no compelling reasons not to grant a motion to bifurcate and terminate marital status in this case.”
The only thing that Kanye can do is let Kim go. If he actually did care for the star, then he would not want to end up in a situation where he holds her back.
In any event, if Kanye does not end up cooperating, then it could lead to a situation where things turn out very bitter. And that is something that is not going to benefit anybody including their children. Time will tell how this will all play out.
