CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to kick off a new week with some fun relationship angles that could lead into interesting storylines.
If there’s one constant in Genoa City, it’s there’s always a stone to overturn that’ll rock the foundation of a relationship no matter how old and stable it’s been.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 27: Settling the score
This is an odd one for us as Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) told Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) after he was shot that they were done and even. So, the possible business between them that needs to be settled has us curious.
We think this will be Adam’s attempt to approach Chance and once more apologize for everything that led to him being shown, assuming it hasn’t been wiped from their history or reworked for storyline reasons.
After what he’s been through, we think Chance will be accepting to a point, though it could trigger more survivor’s guilt as he keeps managing to walk away.
This could even begin a hostile relationship between them in Chance can’t control the anger and frustration that’s trying to come out of him.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 27: Chelsea sends a message
It was only a matter of time before Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) got into a power contest with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), and we could be seeing the opening of their battle.
‘Young and the Restless’ think this could either be Chelsea sending a message to talk about what’s next for them or a message to warn Sally to back off Adam.
We think it’s most likely the former with the threat happening when they have a sit down and Chelsea can’t contain her frustration anymore.
There’s no doubt their rivalry will cause more than a few headaches at Newman Media, so this should be a fun one to watch unfold.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 27: Tough decision
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has been off lately as he wants to spend more time with his son, but he’s trying to give some space for Dominic to bond with Chance, Dominic’s legal dad.
This was something that was going to get messy from the start, and it’s starting to heat up now as it looks like Devon will seek Nate Hasting (Sean Dominic)’s advice.
Nate may not be the right person to give advice on this matter, and he’ll probably say so himself, but we expect him to tell Devon to follow his heart. If he doesn’t, he’ll never be happy.
This storyline is only going to get uglier as we get deeper into it, and Devon will risk alienating everyone or forcing them to alienate Chance by the end of it.
But then maybe Nate will tell him it’s smart of him to back off and stop spending so much time with Dominic. Nate’s a smart man and knows his stuff, so then it’ll come down to whether Devon can follow through with doing that.
