‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers tells us that she plays a lawyer on a daytime television show, but does she really have what it takes to talk like one, or even comment like on in real life?
That’s what a lot of ‘General Hospital’ fans can’t help but wonder as Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) seemed incredibly invested in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. Or at lease she did on Twitter. Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Fans React to Nancy Lee Grahn’s Kyle Rittenhouse Comments: “You’re Not A Real Life Lawyer!”
According to reports, 12 jurors found him not guilty for the deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, and wounding Gaige Grosskreutz, now 27, using an AR-15-type rifle during protests on August 25, 2020, that followed the police shooting of Jacob Blake. Rittenhouse’s lawyers say he was acting in self-defense and found him not guilty.
Because Nancy finds it necessary to almost always share her thoughts and musings on what’s going on in the world, she took to her Twitter account to write, “When Judge Crazy MFer gets elected unopposed in the town of Mayberry KKKenosha, it’s no wonder a jury of his yahoo peers set a bloodthirsty murderous bully with a big gun, free. May the families of the two VICTIMS who this deranged delinquent, slaughtered, somehow find peace.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for her Twitter followers to weigh in on the matter. Many of them commented with, “You play a lawyer on TV. You acquitted monsters. But in real life, it’s different. As a lawyer, I can tell you the jury got it right. It’s an unpopular opinion in this forum. But it’s the correct one when looking at the evidence,” along with, “We weren’t in the courtroom. People make judgements based on tv reporting of what happened not by watching the whole trial. Recent poll showed majority of Americans didn’t even know the people he shot were white.”
Another critic wrote, “Why are you so damn invested in this case? How does this offend you so much that you get to be a name caller to a judge and jury? WTF is wrong in your life woman? He didn’t slaughter them, they attacked him. And how is it KKK, everyone involved was white. How is that racist?”
