‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) had their fiery catfight today and it led to Sally and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) sharing their first kiss! It was an all in all fantastic episode, but there’s something that makes me feel like Phyllis is taking things too far with Sally.
We get it, Phyllis is angry with Sally for her part in making Summer Newman (Hunter King) leaving Genoa City, but things did turn out for the best really. Plus, Phyllis is a grown adult as is Summer, she doesn’t need her mom to come in and save her every moment of her life.

Today illustrated to me that Phyllis is beyond stingy and vengeful. Yes, I understand that’s the character. Phyllis has always been like this, but she was absolutely nasty to her all day today and she didn’t expect Sally to react or defend herself? Really?
I’m glad Phyllis has met her match, and Sally is not going to go down without a fight! Now with Adam on her side, Phyllis is going to have a big fight on her hands.
This is what we love to see, though, right? Sally has been compared to a younger Phyllis and it’s definitely easy to see.
Is there a chance that Phyllis could back off after the water incident or will this just add to the fire? I hope we continue to see the back and forth between these two and hopefully, Sally will get the upper hand.
