NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we had a little irony going on in Salem. Following the disaster that was Justin Kiriakis and Bonnie Lockart’s (Wally Kurth/Judi Evans) wedding, there was plenty of reason for Justin to be hurt and disillusioned. However, there might still be hope for this pair yet and it comes from an interesting source. Here’s what you need to know.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Disaster strikes
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate yet another Salem wedding fell apart at the last minute. Again, we can’t even understand why people bother planning weddings in this town. They always end badly.
This time, Bonnie’s past was to blame. Her sister-in-law, Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman), came to town with an agenda. It seems Bonnie killed her husband and ruined some chance for big money. She blackmailed Bonnie into stealing Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) cash, then betrayed Bonnie by trying to kill Bonnie once the money was in hand. She ended up dead instead, and Xander crashed the wedding to accuse Bonnie of theft. Which led to the discovery of Calista’s body and resulted in the bride getting booked at the Salem PD. But there is one surprising voice of reason here.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Patch to the rescue
Oddly enough, Bonnie’s hope lies in one of the most ironic and unexpected places—Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). In the Tuesday episode, Steve came to check on Justin and ended up giving some advice. He encouraged Justin to go see Bonnie and do what he can, as Steve heard Bonnie fired her attorney.
He insisted there has to be something more behind this story. He had gotten a strange vibe off Calista and Bonnie’s interactions and revealed Calista essentially tried to mount him in the Kiriakis living room about two minutes after they met. His point being, Calista didn’t appear to him to be some innocent flower and hearing more of the story might help Justin.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The future?
For now, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers don’t indicate a clear, sure future for these two. We do, however, see hope. Justin actually took Steve’s advice and went to the PD. Not only is he serving as her attorney, but he was quite defensive when telling Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) the interview with Bonnie was over.
We believe this willingness to help and the tone he took shows he does still love Bonnie. And we’re pretty sure once he hears the whole story, including the circumstances around the original murder Calista blackmailed her over, he’ll want to work things out. Although we doubt he’ll want to take it as far as going down the aisle again. The guy’s already had two recent disasters with a wedding, so we don’t see him betting on a change if he tries again. Unless, of course, they just take off and marry in Vegas or something. Eloping does seem to be the lucky charm for Salem unions.
