CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to close the week out in style, and we’re curious if they’re going to try to top the ice bath.
Since we had our climactic episode for the week, this one feels like it’ll be a little bit energetic and character-building as the past and future coexist side by side.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 3: Newman Media’s Future
With Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) fresh off his make-out session with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), he and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are going to look to bring the focus of the party back to them.
It may take some doing since everyone would rather chat about Sally and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s battle, but they’ll eventually quiet down to show their respect.
Once they have the floor, Adam and Victor will share their plan for Newman Media, and we have the feeling it’ll be newsworthy and grandiose.
In fact, since Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is there, Victor may make it slightly antagonistic.
In the end, people will be talking about it and Adam and Victor will feel pleased with themselves, but they’ll also answer a few questions Billy and Lily Winters (Cristel Khalil) had.
What will this mean for the rival companies going forward?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 3: Mariah’s Recovery
Now that she’s free and safe, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) can begin the healing process from being abducted. It’ll be long and slow, but she’ll get there.
But until then, ‘Young and the Restless’ think she’s going to be dealing with nightmares and jumping at every shadow that moves.
This is going to take a while for her to process and move on from, so we expect plenty of episodes with these segments as she progresses through them.
It’ll be painful for her and those close to her, and we expect the usual culprits of Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to blame themselves for her condition and for not acting sooner despite the signs.
More than this, we think Mariah will lash out from time to time as her own frustration boils over and she’ll need to vent in any way she can.
This will be a touch storyline going forward, and we’re curious what kind of twists are ahead for us.
