‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers find that Brendan Morais packed up his ego, his suitcase and his girlfriend and left the beach this week, but unfortunately, he’s not going away that easily.
Brendan is hoping to stay relevant taking another stab at apologizing for his nasty behavior in Paradise when he went from beloved Bachelorette contestant to ‘voted off the island’, Survivor style by the other cast members- to cheers and applause from home viewers everywhere.
Now, in a 7 minute long video, Brendan is offering a formal apology to Natasha Parker and to Bachelor Nation, but he still denies many of the back-stabby occurrences he is being accused of.
Starting out by addressing Natasha directly, Brendan apologized for hurting her and claims to have truthfully enjoyed spending time with her and her “sweet, soft, kind nature.”

Of course, this was made null and void by Brendan (while still in Paradise) saying that Natasha was “annoying” on a hot mic and more than once dismissed Natasha as having ‘zero viable prospects’ on the beach.
Brendan apologized for both comments, saying he was very immature and claimed he “worded it wrong” when talking about Natasha’s prospects …perhaps he should have said “Natasha’s a loser and no one would want her” because that’s the message Bachelor Nation got.
Despite audiences see the two kiss, Brendan claims there was no romantic connection between them and was surprised he could have hurt Natasha so much after only spending a handful of days together.
So, obviously Brendan still doesn’t get that it was the deception that upset Natasha (and us all). No, she was not all cut up over you, you arrogant SOB.
But I digress.
Brendan continues to be adamant he went on the show as a single man, claiming he and Pieper James were not in an exclusive relationship but had been to dinner and hung out with groups of friends but that was the extent.
He continued to allege that Pieper wasn’t sure if she even wanted to go to Paradise. Considering the hot mic caught the glee in Pieper’s words as she gushed about gaining more followers, was there really any doubt that the fame whore would turn down television exposure and a vacation with her (not) boo. No.
Again, seeming to forget the hot mic caught their entire conversation that began during their dinner date, Brendan tried to convince his remaining Instagram followers that there was no elaborate plan between him and Pieper.
This despite Pieper thanking him for “doing the heavy lifting”, aka– lying his way into earning roses long enough to stay and wait for her arrival.
His ‘back-up’ to the ‘no plan’ claim was that things would have gone much smoother had they planned their Para-heist out, instead of everything going so horribly wrong.
Or…or…you were so arrogant you didn’t think others would see right through you and your flimsy plan? Yep, that’s my bet.
Finally, Brendan is STILL trying to claim he and Pieper didn’t come on the show (already booed up) to gain social media followers- EVEN THOUGH THE HOT MIC CAUGHT THEM SAYING EXACTLY THAT!
Look, I know there is such a thing as editing and yes, the Bachelor franchise is a master class in manipulation when it comes to getting what they want from their hapless contestants and then patchworking together a narrative that suits them.
But I’m not buying it this time.
Brendan finished is lengthy video by apologizing to Natasha again and claimed to be a good man and a good person who just needs to “continue to grow”. Here’s hoping the loss of 100, 000 followers in one week is enough to ensure his ego doesn’t grow along with him!
