’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that the Ethiopian Orthodox holiday, Buhe, is celebrated in a fascinating way. It is to commemorate when Jesus appeared as the light of God to the disciples on Mt. Tabor, apparently this is how they knew that He was the son of God – or at least that’s how Ethiopian tradition tells it.
In order to celebrate this holiday, one makes a bonfire in one’s yard and dances around it, singing, and then to ensure a happy and safe year together, you jump over the fire. Biniyam, Ari, and even Leandro, went to Biniyam’s sister’s house, in order to celebrate.

While there, not only did everyone jump over the fire (yes, including Jewish Ari), but Wish decided to launch her own fire brigade by coming down hard on Ari and Leandro for being together in Ethiopia, even Bini’s big brother, Elob, joined in the chorus of judgmental voices.
He said that it was not common for their country, Wish interpreted this into English by telling them it was “not normal”, Bini’s other sister asked if it was common in Argentina, where Leandro is from, and Leandro defended himself by saying that he doesn’t follow any rules. Bini’s sisters then said, “She doesn’t follow any rules either.” referring to Ari.
Then Wish did something that wasn’t entirely fair to Ari, all night she kept comparing her to Bini’s American ex, who up and left Bini two years ago and took his other son with her and now his son doesn’t know him anymore.
Ariela said that if she left she wouldn’t take the baby and she keeps assuring Bini’s family that she won’t, but that’s not enough for them, they literally won’t stop, it’s almost as if they’re asking, “Could you leave already and just leave the baby with us? Thanks.” Ariela says that they’re only working to push her farther away because they don’t trust her, and honestly… who can blame her?
Ariela hasn’t been perfect, but something is off about the entire situation. It’s clear that Biniyam is just pining away for his ex and that particular situation, but his ex has moved on, so he tried to recreate the situation with Ari… only… she wasn’t his ex and even though she says she won’t take the baby with her, Avi is her child and she is the Mom, no good Mom leaves their child behind without a good reason, and imperfect as she may be, Ariela just doesn’t seem like the type to abandon her child. Leandro’s right about one thing – this doesn’t seem to be home for Ariela. Stay tuned!!!
